The new iPhone has been expected for quite a while now, and as usual, most of the internet leaks are true. 3MP Camera (Auto Focus, Auto White Balance, Video Recording, No Flash, Meh), 7.2Mbps HSDPA, new longer lasting battery, compass, and some type of "fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating".
It is claimed that the iPhone 3G S can be up to 4x faster than the old 3G, even though they look almost identical.
Some "underrated" features can be the added voice control, text to speech, Nike+, and some added security features.
The biggest change in this new iPhone is the pricing, in my opinion. Of course, with Apple it's always getting cheaper gen by gen, so early adapters will slap themselves when they see a cut in price for the next generation. The current 3G 8GB, 99, 3G S 16GB, 199, 3G S 32GB, 299.
