ANDROID MOVING ONTO AUDIO PLAYERS?

Google Android is the operating system found on the G1 Phone (aka HTC Dream). And quite a bit of people like it. The open-source system is expected to gain popularity quickly in the following years.

Apparently, in 2010, Sony will release a few devices (including a new Walkman) that will use the Android OS.

Since this is a rumor, there have been people saying this is highly unlikely, because Sony has been known for its use of proprietary software and hardware, but I guess we'll see soon enough.
